ABOUT ME

As a Sri Lankan Tamil, many of my projects are inspired by the richness of Tamil culture and the experiences of diaspora communities. After studying Bharatanatyam for 15+ years and establishing myself as a teacher and choreographer of the art, I have expanded my passion for storytelling through writing. Storytelling has the power to preserve history, spark meaningful conversations, and build connections across cultures. Whether I'm writing or choreographing, my goal is always the same: to create work that is emotionally honest, thematically compelling, and deeply human.

Beyond the arts, I'm a nursing student, certified Ayurvedic Counselor, and founder of Neerthuli, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving healthcare access in Sri Lanka while celebrating and preserving Tamil arts and culture. My experiences across healthcare, wellness, and community service continually shape my perspective on empathy, resilience, and healing—qualities that naturally find their way into the stories I tell and work I do.
